About Us
Who We Are
Equipment Wholesalers is a Sioux Falls, SD based company owned by Brandt Holdings. Brandt Holdings is based out of Fargo, ND. They own and operate 23 John Deere dealerships in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa.
Equipment Wholesalers is the remarketing arm for all Brandt dealerships but while all our stores carry their own individual name and run as independent enterprises, we at Equipment Wholesalers do the same.
Even though we are owned by Brandt we act independently and conduct our own business initiatives. It is important to us to utilize the size and scale as an advantage when possible but more important to us to protect and continue the individual culture of each location and support and respect the business in each community.
Many times inventory pressure affects so many other important parts of our operations and from time to time it is necessary to reduce our pricing structure and wholesale equipment in order to balance inventories.
We realize that if we were going to give a price advantage to someone, we would rather give it to you, our customers who on a daily basis are at the root of producing the food that feeds the world. Many patrons have expressed their appreciation for this approach and have supported it by doing business with our wholesale division time and time again.
Due to the size of our parent company we have also been able to culture many relationships with dealers outside of John Deere which allows us to offer products from Case IH, Ford New Holland, Agco and Caterpillar as well as others to you at our discounted prices.

What do we offer you the Producer or Buyer?
We have a very disciplined inspection process and quality assurance program that gives you the buyer a peace of mind for the machine you are buying whether you are in our area or several states away.
Our attention in providing the best quality of machines and services is a core fundamental of our business philosophy. Some people have asked why we call ourselves Equipment Wholesalers. We do this because we acquire equipment that comes from either our John Deere dealer organization or another dealer inventory that they have sold to us. We specialize in selling equipment at wholesale prices. The mentality behind Equipment Wholesalers is that we can be your best price for high quality machines.
How can we be better priced?
We can be better priced because we run with low overhead and work off of volume. Also we do not offer service nor do we have the infrastructure overhead of supporting machines at this level.
We know that sometimes the machine you want is not at your currant dealer and that many of you take on the task of going out into the market place to find your used machines. We are here to provide the machine to you. We understand that you will still want to patronize your local dealer and get your parts and service from them. Equipment Wholesalers realizes this and supports the patronization of local dealers.
How we work with other dealers
At Equipment Wholesalers the majority of our equipment is generated by the normal trading practices of our family of John Deere dealerships. Our culture allows us to be independently managed and this business model allows us the flexibility to work with and serve other dealers including all makes of dealers.
What advantages do we offer other dealers?
We understand that there is a lot of competition for a sales person’s time when you are managing and growing your dealership trade area. Many times there are many new programs and new machine incentives that a sales person finds it difficult to find the time to focus the attention needed on remarketing the used trades. In these situations we have dealers that offer us a list of machines that they want to wholesale. We give real time market evaluations on these machines and remarket them to the consumer at wholesale values. We have 35 years of experience in the business and a database of customers from coast to coast. We specialize in identifying markets of like kind demand all over the U.S. 100% of our focus everyday is centered around remarketing used machines into newer U.S. and Canadian markets. We also export into 11 countries and many times we export these machines into Europe, Asia and South America.
